Lisa Thompson uses her unique background in business management,
counseling, executive coaching and career consulting to assist
individuals and corporations in achieving their goals. Her skills
as a coach along with her corporate background allow her to address
both organizational and human development needs in a practical
and realistic manner. In her current role as a Partner in LeaderSight
Consulting Group LLC, she is focused on management consulting,
organizational and team assessments, executive coaching, succession
planning and team strategic alignment.
Prior to LeaderSight Consulting Group, she was the Senior Managing
Director for Spherion’s Human Capital Consulting Group in
Dallas/Ft. Worth, running a multi-million dollar operation with
over 12 consultants. In this capacity, she provided leadership
to one of the most successful and profitable offices nationally.
Under her direction, the Dallas office was recognized for its innovative
management consulting, coaching and career transition solutions,
which contributed to its outstanding bottom-line results and stellar
reputation in the marketplace.
Earlier in her career she worked with Reedie & Company, a
premier career consulting firm known for its superior work with
senior executives in transition. The firm was later acquired by
Spherion. Lisa held positions as a Career Consultant and Vice President
of Sales prior to being promoted to Managing Director. Before her
work in human capital consulting she worked as a Director of Corporate
Accounts with Ceridian Corporation where she managed numerous,
major accounts. Ceridian provided management consulting and employee
benefits programs for major corporate clients across a wide spectrum
of industries. The consulting processes addressed employee and
organizational development issues.
Lisa managed a successful counseling business early in her career
where her work included assessments, executive coaching and consulting
for individuals and corporate entities. She also provided training,
seminars and consulting for individuals and corporations on human
resource development topics ranging from dealing with difficult
employees to team building and managing change.
In addition to her credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor
she is also is certified in numerous evaluation and assessment
instruments. Currently, she serves on the board of Attitudes & Attire
a non-profit organization that focuses on assisting disadvantaged
women enter the workforce. She received her BAAS degree in Public
Relations and Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University
in Nacogdoches, Texas and her M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance
from Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas.
